ROBERTDEALS

Robert Deals, a retired Air Force veteran who served this country for eleven respectable years, is now serving his twelfth year of an 18-year sentence in the state prison in Yuma, Arizona for a cannabis-related conviction.

That is why Last Prisoner Project is teaming up with Berner, Founder of Cookies, to
launch an advocacy campaign to generate public pressure on the Arizona Board of Executive Clemency and Governor Katie Hobbs to use their authority to #FreeRobertDeals! We encourage you to use the info  below to write, call, and email their offices to urge them to release him!

URGE GOV. LAURA KELLY:

RELEASE ANTONIO WYATT

#FREEANTONIOWYATT

Antonio Wyatt is serving an over 11-year sentence after being convicted on a first-time cannabis-related offense.

In May 2017, Antonio was driving on Interstate-70 from Colorado to his home state of Tennessee when an officer pulled him over for a traffic stop and smelled cannabis in his vehicle. The officer then searched his vehicle and found eight pounds of cannabis. Having already served six years for an activity now legal in most of the country, Antonio deserves freedom.

That is why Last Prisoner Project has launched the
#FreeAntonioWyatt advocacy campaign to generate public pressure on the Kansas Prisoner Review Board and Governor Laura Kelly to grant him clemency. We encourage you to use our advocacy toolkit to write, call, and email their offices and urge them to free Antonio Wyatt!

URGE YOUR GOVERNOR TO ACT:

PARDONS TO PROGRESS

PARDONS TO PROGRESS

Last Prisoner Project

Late last year, President Biden took the historic step of pardoning thousands of people convicted of federal marijuana possession. At the same time, he called on the country’s governors to take similar action on the state level.

Regrettably, few governors have heeded his request.

We know public pressure is the only thing that will make these policymakers take action. That's why we've launched Pardons To Progress, an advocacy campaign calling on the President and state governors to grant clemency to the tens of thousands of people who remain incarcerated due to nonviolent cannabis convictions.

Help us secure the release of cannabis prisoners by heading to www.pardonstoprogress.com!

All it takes is a signature from President Biden or a U.S. Governor to free thousands of unjust cannabis prisoners.

URGE DA MARVIN:

RELEASE KEVIN ALLEN

#FREEKEVINALLEN

Kevin Allen is currently serving a 35-year sentence after being resentenced from life sentence without the possibility of parole when he was convicted in 2014 of selling $20 worth of marijuana. The Louisiana Supreme Court ordered the judge to give Kevin a sentence that is not constitutionally excessive, but 35 years is longer than anyone should be incarcerated for cannabis. However, Kevin's resentencing means he will be eligible for parole later this year.

Now, we need your voice to put public pressure on the Louisiana Board of Pardons & Parole to do what is right and #FreeKevinAllen. The more people who amplify Kevin's case, the more likely it is that the state will use it's power to #FreeKevinAllen.

LPP LETTER WRITING PROGRAM

LET OUR CONSTITUENTS KNOW YOU'RE FIGHTING FOR THEM

We're inviting our supporters to send well wishes to those currently incarcerated for cannabis. After all, sending a letter to an incarcerated cannabis prisoner reminds them that you're fighting for them and they have not been forgotten. These letters are even more powerful in the midst of the COVID-19 pandemic, which has restricted access to visitations and internet. As our constituents will say over and over again — a handwritten note can really go a long way.

FEDERAL CANNABIS CLEMENCY

A TIME TO HEAL

Last Prisoner Project

We’re calling on President Biden to deliver bold action and immediate relief by granting clemency to the thousands of people incarcerated due to, otherwise still burdened by, federal cannabis-related convictions.

Our plan gives the Biden-Harris Administration a step-by-step guide to effectuating class-wide cannabis clemency effort in an efficient, effective and secure manner. The proposal, which draws inspiration from the clemency efforts of past Presidents, would help us build a more just and equitable America.

Help us by using your voice to demand action!

FREE MOHAMED TAHER

Edwin Rubis sits in federal prison for doing the very same thing others (including the IRS) are making millions off of. According to Article II of the U. S. Constitution, President Biden has the authority to grant clemency to any and all cannabis prisoners incarcerated in federal prison, including Edwin.

Mohamed Taher  was sentenced to 25 years in prison for selling cannabis. He has served over 7 years, despite the fact that he was operating in states that have completely legalized or decriminalized cannabis.

He was incarcerated soon after his marriage. His wife says his incarceration has kept them from starting their own family. Not only has our "justice" system taken Moe's life, but it has stripped his entire family of a future.
